PC Fix @ Once - Service Policy

The points listed below are the Terms of Service Provision PC Fix @ Once follows. These points in combination embody the service agreement between PC Fix @ Once, the Service Provider, and you, The Customer. When you place an order at PC Fix @ Once, it is considered as your declaration of understanding and accepting these terms as binding conditions during and after the service provision. These terms replace or override any verbal communications if the rare case of ambiguity arises in any form.

Authorizing the Usage of Your Computer

When you leave your computer for service, you are authorizing PC Fix @ Once to use your computer for the agreed purposes of diagnose, identification of defect or problems, fixing the defect identified, and installing hardware and/or software. PC Fix @ Once takes no responsibility for the failure of any hardware, corruption of software and data loss while attempting to repair and not emanating from my negligence. Also, The Customer agrees to have no liability claims on the Service Provider in this regard.

By leaving a computer system or other related devices with PC Fix @ Once, The Customer gives an implied consent to an unlimited access to all data, private or otherwise, stored on the computer system insofar as the access is justifiably linked with the service being rendered.

Privacy and Data Security

PC Fix @ Once is obliged to treat all the data, software and hardware the customer entrusts in it with due care, protection and confidentiality. However, PC Fix @ Once will accept no liability for the loss of such data, device and software due to happenings beyond its control including fire and/or flood accidents, natural disasters and criminal victimization.

Repair Work & Part Replacements Guarantee

All configuration, repair, and maintenance services PC Fix @ Once provides are guaranteed for three months starting from the last service date so that The Customer gets free correction of defects and inadvertent omissions that occurred during service provision. But this guarantee does not cover any problem not related to the repair or fix undertaken by PC Fix @ Once. The guarantee also does not cover all other problems that originate from third party software or hardware not installed by PC Fix @ Once.

If any damage is believed to inevitably happen during the repair, PC Fix @ Once first informs you and secures your consent before executing any repair. PC Fix @ Once will also provide you with, to the extent possible, all required information so that you can make an appropriate decision.

This guarantee does not cover any problem that recurred due to The Customer`s disregard for security advice given by PC Fix @ Once in relation to network and/or internet connection vulnerabilities.

For repair that involves part replacement, PC Fix @ Once services all brands of computers, old and new. Replacement parts to be used will be chosen in consultation with you and not necessarily new ones are used. Nevertheless, to protect The Customer from low quality parts, PC Fix @ Once uses parts with manufacturer guarantee as much as possible. However, in some cases, used or limited availability parts may have a shorter warranty or may come with none at all.

Turnaround Time

The Customer understands that the estimated time quoted to complete my service depends on many factors and is an estimate only. The Customer understands it is possible that this time could significantly increase depending on what problems are discovered during the service.

The Customer agrees that the estimated turnaround time does NOT include the day the system is brought to my place, Sundays, public Holidays, and waiting time for replacement. To the extent feasible, PC Fix @ Once keeps The Customer informed on the progress and completes the repair work in time.

Communication

The Customer can contact PC Fix @ Once during working hours and PC Fix @ Once contacts The Customer as required.

The Customer understands and agrees that items left at PC Fix @ Once for more than 45 days from the day of delivery and without any further communication from The Customer, are considered totally abandoned and would be disposed of without notifying The Customer.

Opening Hours

PC Fix @ Once is open 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday to Saturday. It is closed on Sunday and all public holidays.

Coverage

Based at Ponteland Road, Newcastle, the service provision of PC Fix @ Once covers Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham.

Highlights

The services of PC Fix @ Once are provided at your premise or at my place depending on your preference. If it is your choice, I can collect and repair your PC and bring back to your place without any extra charge.

In case of a PC with defect/problems, NO fee will be charged if no fix is made!

PC Fix @ Once does not charge any call out charge.
